This is Ben Sargent the Director responsible for the Young Inventors Pages.  Ben's aim is to get 100 members for this section.

As the son of one of the Inventors-showcase founders, it was inevitable that he would come up with ideas for inventions of his own,  He did !! (Vehicle periscope) - But his best idea yet was to form Young inventors-showcase, and here it is.

The purpose of this section is to enroll members from throughout the UK, Europe and America, with a common interest, developing their innovative ideas by exchanging information and discussing basic problems until a satisfactory solution can be found, A new invention!

Each member will receive a welcome to YIS (Young Inventors-showcase) pack, they will have a dedicated web page to write about themselves, their family, their pets, their friends, their interests and above all their ideas! This is Luke Ripley, 9yrs old, from Lewes, East Sussex.  His main interest is working on radio and telecommunication equipment. 

Crystal radio sets are his speciality and by experimenting with various types, he is convinced that one day he will invent a unique innovation.  With his persistence and enquiring mind, he is the stuff real inventors are made of and we are sure one day he will!

Luke is working on an invention at the moment that will be included on this site as soon as his planned drawings are completed.
